CCAT Results Not Received: Scores, Reports, and Follow-Up

Criteria sends assessment results directly to the company administering the event. Candidates do not always receive a raw score, percentile, category breakdown or employer-facing report automatically.

A missing result does not reveal whether you performed well or poorly.

Who Receives CCAT Results?

Criteria’s candidate FAQ states that results are sent directly to the company for which the assessments were completed.

The employer may receive information such as:

  • overall raw score;
  • overall percentile;
  • category percentiles;
  • a suggested score range where configured;
  • results from other Criteria assessments;
  • an integrated candidate report.

The candidate may receive only a completion message or no score information at all.

Why Results May Not Be Displayed

Possible reasons include:

  • the employer has chosen not to share scores automatically;
  • the report is designed for employer use;
  • several assessments are still being combined;
  • the recruiter has not completed review;
  • the event records completion without showing a result page;
  • the employer plans to provide feedback later;
  • the hiring process does not include individual score disclosure.

Do not interpret silence as failure.

First Confirm Completion

Check for:

  • a final completion screen;
  • a confirmation email;
  • a status change in the candidate portal;
  • a message stating that the employer has received the assessment;
  • the absence of an unfinished event in the invitation portal.

Preserve the invitation, Event ID and any confirmation privately.

If no confirmation appears, contact the employer or official support before attempting to restart the event.

Who Should You Contact?

Employer or Recruiter

Contact the employer for:

  • score or feedback requests;
  • application status;
  • hiring timelines;
  • retake decisions;
  • report disclosure;
  • next-stage information.

Criteria Candidate Support

Criteria support can assist with technical or event-access issues. Its candidate FAQ states that support does not provide assessment results or hiring-status information.

Independent Preparation Website

CCATPracticeTest.com cannot access:

  • your official event;
  • your score;
  • your employer report;
  • your Event ID record;
  • your hiring status.

Do not send private invitation details or personal documents to this site.

How to Request Feedback

A concise request can include:

  • your name;
  • the role applied for;
  • the date the assessment was completed;
  • confirmation that the event appeared to finish successfully;
  • a polite request for available feedback or status information.

Do not demand a report that the employer is not required to disclose. Ask whether any score, percentile or general feedback can be shared.

Technical Problems and Missing Results

If a technical problem occurred, record:

  • the exact error message;
  • the approximate time;
  • the browser and device;
  • whether the timer was running;
  • whether responses appeared to save;
  • whether a completion screen appeared;
  • the Event ID, shared only through an authorized channel.

Do not repeatedly reopen the assessment unless instructed. Multiple attempts or sessions can complicate the event record.

Read the technical-problems guide and retake guide.

Can You Request a Retake?

A retake is not automatic.

The employer or administrator may consider one when:

  • a verified technical failure occurred;
  • the event was interrupted;
  • an approved accommodation was missing;
  • the invitation was configured incorrectly;
  • another documented issue affected completion.

A disappointing result alone does not create a universal right to retake.

Practice Results Are Different

A score from an independent practice test is not an official Criteria result because:

  • the questions differ;
  • the scoring model may differ;
  • the norm group differs or may not exist;
  • repeated exposure can inflate performance;
  • the practice provider cannot access the employer’s decision rules.

Use practice scores to track methods, pacing and error patterns-not to claim an official raw score or percentile.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Criteria email candidates their CCAT score?

Not necessarily. Results are sent to the administering company, and candidate disclosure depends on the employer’s process.

Can Criteria support tell me whether I passed?

No. Criteria support does not control the employer’s decision and does not provide hiring status.

Does no response mean I failed?

No. It can reflect employer timelines, review stages or a policy of not sharing scores.

Can I see category percentiles?

Only if the employer or authorized report makes them available.

How long should I wait before following up?

Use the employer’s stated timeline. If none was provided, allow a reasonable business period before sending one concise follow-up.
