What Can Count as Unauthorized Assistance?
Follow the candidate agreement, invitation and on-screen instructions.
Unauthorized assistance can include:
- another person solving questions;
- sharing the screen to obtain answers;
- using a phone or second device for help;
- opening an AI assistant during the test;
- searching the web for definitions or formulas;
- using an unauthorized dictionary or translation tool;

Is Every CCAT Proctored?
No universal rule says that every CCAT event uses the same monitoring configuration.

Appropriate pre-test uses include:
- generating original practice examples;
- explaining arithmetic methods;
- creating a study schedule;

Inappropriate live uses include:
- pasting a current question into an AI tool;
- asking AI to interpret a live image;

Can Someone Else Take the Test for You?

Impersonation defeats the purpose of the assessment and can violate employer and platform rules. The result must reflect the invited candidate’s own work.
Can You Ask Another Person for Help?
No.
Tell household members or colleagues not to interrupt you before beginning. If an unavoidable interruption occurs, do not discuss the question or request assistance.
For a serious interruption or technical failure, follow the official support process and report the facts accurately.
Can You Use Notes or Formula Sheets?
Use only materials expressly permitted by the live instructions.
Do not keep unauthorized:

What About Translation Tools?
