CCAT Score Sharing: Who Can See Your Results?

Criteria’s candidate FAQ states that assessment results are part of the candidate’s confidential record.

The results are available to the company that administered the assessments and are not shared with other companies.

This means an official CCAT result is not automatically portable from one employer to another.

The employer controls whether the candidate receives a copy, summary, percentile, or no numerical feedback.

Current Privacy Position

Criteria’s Privacy Policy effective July 20, 2026 states that applicant assessment scores are shared with the potential employer for which the assessment was taken and are not shared with another prospective employer or other third party unless the relevant parties expressly consent. Its candidate FAQ likewise describes results as confidential records available to the administering company.

This does not create a universal right to transfer a score to another employer or guarantee that the candidate receives the full report. Direct result and hiring-status requests to the employer, not Criteria support or a preparation website.

Who Receives the Official Result?

The company administering the event receives the results.

Criteria’s candidate guidance states that employers are sent the raw score and percentile after completion.

The employer-facing report can include additional ability-area and score-range information where configured.

Does Criteria Share the Score With Other Employers?

Criteria’s current candidate FAQ says results are not shared with other companies.

A result completed for Employer A is therefore not automatically visible to Employer B.

Do not assume that:

  • one result creates a universal candidate profile;
  • another company can search for the score;
  • an Event ID allows another employer to access the result;
  • a screenshot becomes an official transferable report.

Can the Candidate Receive the Score?

Possibly, but not always.

The employer may provide:

  • the complete report;
  • raw score and percentile;
  • selected category information;
  • general feedback;
  • only a recruitment decision;
  • no detailed numerical information.

Ask neutrally:

Could you please confirm whether candidate assessment feedback or a copy of my score information is available?

Can You Send Your Score to Another Employer?

You may choose to tell another employer that you previously completed a CCAT, but this does not make the previous result an official score for the new recruitment process.

The new employer may:

  • request its own event;
  • use a different Criteria assessment;
  • decline to accept a screenshot or self-reported number;
  • apply another job association;
  • follow its own data and selection policy.

Do not represent an independent practice result as official.

Can You Share a Score Screenshot Online?

Avoid publishing a complete score report publicly.

A report can contain:

  • candidate name;
  • position;
  • test date;
  • Test Event ID;
  • score details;
  • employer-related information.

Public sharing can expose private data and make the report easier to misuse.

When discussing the result generally, remove identifying and event information.

Do not publish secure questions or answer content.

Keep the Event ID Private

The Event ID helps official support locate an assessment event.

It should not be posted:

Use it only through the employer or official Criteria support route.

Does an Employer Own the Result?

This page should not make legal ownership claims.

Criteria describes the result as part of the confidential candidate record available to the administering company.

Access, retention, and disclosure can depend on:

  • employer policy;
  • platform configuration;
  • location;
  • applicable privacy requirements.

For a formal data-access request, use the employer’s or Criteria’s official privacy process rather than relying on an independent preparation website.

Can You Ask Criteria Directly for the Score?

Criteria’s candidate FAQ states that its support team does not have access to candidate results.

Hiring-status and score inquiries should be directed to the company administering the assessments.

Do not send support requests to unrelated Criteria sales contacts.

Can a Recruiter Forward the Report?

The employer controls its handling of the report within its authorized process.

Candidates should not assume that:

  • the report is automatically forwarded to every department;
  • another employer can access it;
  • the complete report will be sent to the candidate;
  • category values are public.

Sharing Practice Scores

An independent practice score can be shared as personal preparation information, but it should be labelled accurately.

Use:

I completed an independent 50-question timed practice test and scored 29.

Do not use:

I officially scored 29 on the CCAT.

unless the number came from the official event and you are authorized to disclose it.

A practice percentile is also not an official Criteria percentile.

Does Score Sharing Affect Validity?

Sharing a result summary does not change the underlying score.

Sharing secure questions, answer choices, screenshots, or event credentials can create security and privacy problems.

Do not reconstruct or distribute live content.

What to Do When an Employer Requests a Previous Score

Clarify:

  • whether it wants a self-reported result;
  • whether it requires an official report;
  • whether it will administer a new event;
  • whether the previous employer can release information;
  • whether the request concerns the CCAT or another Criteria assessment.

Do not send an Event ID as proof of score.
